Software engineering for businesses that want it done right
I build the software your business actually needs.
Websites, custom tools, automations, and AI that fit how you already work. Built personally by a full-time software engineer in Orlando — not a template, and not a team you'll never meet.
01Services
What I can do for you
Four things, done properly. Most businesses need one or two of them — and the first conversation is about figuring out which.
- 01
Websites that bring in business
Fast, beautiful, found on Google and by AI assistants. Built around your brand and your customers, not a theme.
How this works - 02
Custom tools & automations
Replace the spreadsheet, the double-entry, and the "someone has to remember to do this" with software that just does it.
How this works - 03
AI & agent integration
Practical AI inside the tools you already use: answering customers, drafting documents, triaging requests, pulling reports — with guardrails and a human in the loop.
How this works - 04
Systems that talk to each other
Connect your POS, CRM, scheduling, accounting, and inventory so data moves without anyone retyping it.
How this works
02Why me
Why work with me instead of an agency or a template
You get an actual engineer, directly, for the long run — not a template, and not a team you'll never meet.
You get an actual engineer.
By day I build and maintain production software for large, high-stakes systems. At my day job I’ve ported a distributed logging service from Windows to Linux, containerized it, and built the installer that took a large system’s setup from dozens of manual steps down to a handful. I'm also finishing a master's in computer science with a focus on AI and machine learning.
You get me, directly.
No account manager, no hand-offs, no junior developer you've never met. I come to your shop, learn how you work, and build around it. Before I wrote software for a living I ran a restaurant floor as a shift lead — so I know what “the system is down” feels like at 7 p.m. on a Friday.
You get a partner, not a project.
Software isn't finished when it launches. I offer monthly care plans so there's always someone who knows your system and picks up the phone.
03How it works
No mystery. Four steps.
You'll know where things stand at every one of them.
04Pricing
Clear pricing. No surprises.
Hourly, fixed-price, or a monthly care plan. Every engagement starts with a free call and a written quote.

The kind of problems I like solving
- Acquisitions firm
Lead review that ranks itself
A points-based scoring system that ranks every incoming record on fifteen criteria, so an acquisitions team stopped reading spreadsheets by hand and started calling the right people first.

Dozens of install steps, down to a handful
An installer and patcher for a large multi-service system that replaced dozens of manual, order-sensitive steps with a handful of guided ones — the same way every time, with a record of what was done.

A logging service that stopped hitting its limits
A legacy logging system for a distributed simulation environment had hit hard limits on how much it could track. I helped replace it with a standards-based service, ported it to Linux, containerized it, and validated a streaming pipeline behind it.

06About
Hi, I'm Ethan.
By day I'm a software engineer at a major defense and aerospace company, working on large systems that are not allowed to break. I'm also finishing an accelerated master's in computer science at UCF with a focus on AI and machine learning. Evenings and weekends, I build for businesses like yours.
More about meTell me what's slowing your business down.
I'll tell you honestly whether software can fix it — and what it would take.
